Philippine Marriage is really a remarkable union. We have always believed that marriage is a sacred vow to God. That could be the reason why divorce is not implemented here in the Philippines.

From King Vidor’s 1926 silent movie, “The Crowd”, it was said that “Marriage isn’t a word — it’s a sentence.”. As a matter of fact, this is true. Marriage may be a short word but it has a broad meaning. It is a never ending journey of understanding, and learning not only for oneself but both of the couple. It is a continuously blossoming and strong bond between two lovers – a bond that holds eternal happiness and sacrifice.

Nowadays, some Filipinos fail to live by these values. Marriages in the Philippines have been broken, annulled, or couples have separated homes. We must always remember that when we are entering marriage, we must always be sure of what we are going through.
